Steve Irwin- a legend, never to be forgotten!

On Monday the 4th September the whole world was saddened to hear of Steve Irwin shocking death… It was a freak accident and a tragedy. I recently had the pleasure of visiting his amazing Australia Zoo and I learnt so much from just spending a couple of hours there. Steve Irwin and his family changed the world with their passion for all types of wildlife and they worked so hard to educate people on the dangers that these animals are facing and showing people how to conserve these precious species.

Steve Irwin is someone who will never be forgotten and his actions and passion have changed Australia and the whole world for the better. Many people don’t realise how endangered some animals really are and Steve Irwin used his time wisely in educating to the public of these dangers and the importance of our wildlife. He made us appreciate every living animal and I know that I have learnt a lot for Australia Zoo and Steve Irwin.

R.I.P Steve Irwin, the world wont be the same without you!… People say that 1 person cant change the world.. But I believe Steve Irwin proved them totally wrong!! What do you reckon?!! My deepest condolences go out to the Irwin family and staff at Australia Zoo, Steve Irwin was an amazing man and He will be missed forever.

If you ever get the chance to go over to Brisbane I strongly suggest you spend a day or two at Australia Zoo, I learnt so much and their set-up of all the animals is amazing.. I spend like 6 hours there and me and my family didnt get to see evrything, there is just so much to see and do!.. Well worth going!

RIVERCRUISE!!!!!!!!

Guys. Sorry but I have given up on blogging about my holiday 2 brissy!.. Sorry… but I am going to write a post about my year 11 river cruise i went on, on Friday 18th August 2006! It was an awesome night and I had so much fun…




The theme was Black and White and everyone looked wikid!... we boarded the boat at 7pm and when we got on, the boat was decorated with black and white balloons and everything looked so cool!

There was unlimited soft-drinks supplies!...The boat travelled to Freemantle Dock.. and thats were we picked up the pizzas 4 dinner... but the pizza guy was late (as usual!) and we had 2 wait 4 like 20 mins at the dock! lol...but everyone was just dancing and such!...

The night was awesome.. everyone was just dancing and taking photos of ppl!... me and my friends.. took advantage of the 'out of skool time' and got some shots in the with teachers!!...

The whole night went really quite quickly and i was sad 4 end such a fun evening... but i knew i had danced a lot coz my feet were SOO sore that i had 2 take my shoes off!.. lol .. i wasnt the only one.. dont worry!!.. anyways over the course of the night many weird but funny photos were taken....

DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!

omgosh i just wrote this wikid blog about my holiday in brisbane and it had taken me ages.. like hours coz there was so many pictures and such!.. but then i pressed something and it all just cleared.. like i couldnt find it anywhere there was like no traces of it on the blogspace!!... i was so mad i nearly cried!! lol.. wat a loser!!.. but i had put so much effort into this blog.. DAMN TECNOLOGY!!!... i guess it serves me right 4 doing while i was ment 2 be doing my homework... but man i could shot something right now!! ahh well i cant do anything about it now so....
but there will now be a delay in my posting of my holiday! lol.. maybe 2moz or something... when i have another 2 hours 2 spare! lol

The other day i went to the beach and omgosh i just got out of the water and i saw these 3 dolphins just randomly swimming by!!

Anyways it made me think about how amazing God is and his power and awesomeness!!! (if that is a word!) hehe..
Like just 2 see these amazing creates just swimming and breathing and stuff.. it just made me feel so small 2 think that i serve this hugely-huge God that loves me so much.. to serve a father that created everything from dolphins to trees and cats!! and people ofcourse.. it just totally overwellmed me!

God is always there everyhour of everyday and all we have to do is reach out and be willing to love and serve him. God reminds me of a lightswitch.. its always there but you have to reach out and switch it on ... in Gods situation ask for help!! No matter what you do without reaching out and turning on the swith (asking God for help) the light with never be on!!

anyways thats how i see it.. but seriously its true isnt it??! People live there lives wondering why God never helped them when they never stepped out and said 'God i believe in you and i want 2 live for u.. i need you lord!!'
He is just sitting there waiting to be turned on.. like the lightswitch!!.. So what r u gonna do?! wonder y the light never turned on for u.. or just go and switch it on urself??!

This blog is kinda in 2 parts but oh well.. im kinda like that..

Christmas.. what is it??

What is christmas 2 u?? is it just another festive season.. or is it something a lot more??

i can tell u that 2 me chrismas is a time 2 reflect and thank God 4 giving us the ultimate gift.. his son Jesus!! Even tho its fun 2 give and recieve presents and stuff.. we have 2 stop and think about the sacrifice God made.. imagine giving up ur only son 2 save ppl, u know will still turn against u @ some point!! it would be hard ey?!..

U ask urself, y would someone do that.. give up his son?? well...
everyone is so special and loved by God and he knew u were important and he knew that u were going 2 fall short of his glory @ some point in ur life. U know it says in the bible that the price of sin is death!! FAR OUT! thats like if u steal something.. u should die! lol man thats crazy soo... God sent his son Jesus 2 the earth 2 take the sins for us.. so now we r 4given and we can slip up and God wil not punish us.. 2 a degree anyways..

Therefore if we slip up and make a mistake we can ask 4 God's 4giveness and if we r truely genuine about it he will 4give us and totally 4get it even happened! and then we can get on with our lives and learn from that mistake! When Jesus was dying on the cross.. u know wat he said?? "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do." WOW.. these guys r killing Jesus and he tells his father 2 4give them... i think we can all learn from that quote.. man if Jesus can 4give those that r doing that him... surely we can 4give those that hurt us in our lives!?

Life is Short..

People say that life is the longest thing u will ever do, but its not.. life is short and every moment should be cherished. Live for a purpose; dont spend ur life just sleeping and eating. Live for a greater thing.. like God! I live for God and even though things still get hard i have someone greater than me 2 help me out..

Life is the most precious thing and i believe that everything that happens is important 2 ur life and no matter how tough it is u will learn from it. Life is something thats complicated and really confussing at times but life is definatly not a game and once its over, its over.. u cant go back, u cant start over. Life is too short 2 forget people or 2 be angry at them. The thing with life is u dont know when it is going 2 end and u must take the time everyday 2 tell the ones u love and care for just how much they mean 2 u. There is not point holding gruges because u will regret saying sorry 2 that person when they r no longer there.

The world today is just so messed up, u have people bombing places like there is no 2morrow, u have teenage girls doing everything they can 2 live up to the 'standard' of this world, u have kids getting into drugs and alcohol just 2 try and get away from their own lives.. doesnt that sadden u?? 2 think that so many people dont know how amazing and beautiful they r in God's eyes.
Its says in Psalms 139:14 "I praise u because i am fearfully and wonderfully made, ur works r wonderful i know that full well.".. that means that every single one of us r fearfully and wonderfully made.. no one is an accient or a mistake and its just scary 2 think that so many people cant relise that.

anyways im getting a bit side-tracted here!! But really what i mean by all that there is 2 many people who dont know about God and how wonderful they r in Him and i believe that christians should be stepping out and being the light in this dark world... because life is too short 2 leave it up 2 someone else. I intend 2 live my life for Jesus and that way i know that i will be in heaven with God for the rest of eternity. i like this quote because it is so true and good..
"Life is short, So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back."

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is such a strong and personal issue and like so many ppl dont like 2 forgive those that hurt them..
I read this in a Leadership Files thingo (ryan and maryka will know what i'll talking bout!)

"Forgiveness is the key to healing. Forgive people before before they apologise. Even though it doesn't seem fair. You want revenge. But forgive them. Let it go. Be bigger than your offenders. Forgive everybody everything they've ever done against you everyday and healing and health are yours."

This is so true like people hold gruges against those that hurt them, but in the end ur only hurting urself because the other person probably didnt even relise they hurt u. So many ppl r holding onto the bad things that happened and the ppl that hurt them.. they want them 2 see just how much they have screwed up their lives.. but we just have 2 learn 2 b the bigger person and say look i 4give u..
it just relises something in ur heart and u feel alot beter. Some ppl have the worst of things done 2 them and they r strong enough in themselves 2 say i 4give that person..

as a christian i believe that 4giving ppl is the right thing 2 do and when u do relise that anger and hurt u actually feel so much better then if u held onto that pain.. if u 4give someone it doesnt mean that they have 'won' and it doesnt mean that u 4get wat they did but in a way it helps u..

but yeh this is a pretty random post but i was a bit confussed when writing it so bear with me!! comment ur thought.. :)
